Our Story
Hi! My name is Laura, the owner of the Coastal Craft Studio! I found my love for crafting at a young age, and its always part a part of my life. I got my creative flare from my Mum, who loved to make handmade cards and pottery painting to gift to others -and I love making things! I first started a crafting business in 2013, when I friend and I started making scrabble frames, family trees and decorative glasses. Then during lockdown I opened a candle business "Ella & Ivy" which was very popular, I was lucky to be in various shops around Berkshire, which is where my idea for The Coastal Craft studio started! I loved the idea of small local businesses having a space to sell and showcase their products. I moved to Falmouth in 2024 and found the perfect space for my dream to become a reality!
I also wanted to make a space for community, to make with friends or meet new people!
